In English 'modelbouwenzo' means modeling and so, for the only reason all other domain names I want to use were registered yet.
Far far before internet I build a lot of plastic kits with too much glue and paint. The models were varied, from tanks and cars to planes and helicopters. For many years they were placed in my room, but they are all gone now. After a break of more than 20 years I started all over again, first reading several forums (see links).

Because of the various skills and builds I make some difference between woodmodeling ("houtsnuiven" = "sniffing wood") and modeling with plastic.

Wooden Ships
King of the Mississippi My first kit was a model of the paddlesteamer King of the Mississippi (scale 1:80 - Artesania Latina). Length = 66 cm. Some pictures of the build of this beauty.

Chinese Jonk My present projects,  two Chinese piratejunks, one out the box and one scratchbuild.
Plastic modeling Quite different than wooden modeling, but both are interesting.
