The "Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole" made its debut at the Geneva show in 1985. In 1988 the car had an upgrade, and the carburettors were replaced with fuel-injection, also received straked sideskirts and revised engine hood design.
This model kit features and recreates the "Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole" of the 1988 model year sold in Japan (generally known as "late production model"), with newly designed injection engine parts and sideskirts, also the revised engine hood.
