USS Wasp (LHD-1) is a U.S. Navy multipurpose amphibious assault ship. She is the tenth USN vessel to bear the name and was the flagship of the Second Fleet and the lead ship of her class. Kit features 1-piece full hull, optional position well deck doors, flight deck with raised detail, detailed superstructure, optional position deck elevators, ship's boats, point defense weapon suite, deck crane and tractors, CH-53, CH-46, MV-22, AH-1W, SH-60, AV-8B, AAV7A1, LAV-25, M1A1, M60A3, LCAC, M1097, M1114, MTVR, M198, LCU and Crashtrucks, extensive photoetch accents (railings, crane, boats, propellers and more interior/exterior) and display stand. Completed model is approximately 28.9" long. Decals and color painting reference for a single ship - flight deck and hull markings plus aircraft, vehicles and boat insignia, shows port and starboard profiles plus overhead plan.
