The MQ/RQ-1 Predator is a UAV or Unmanned Air Vehicle manufactured by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Incorporated. The RQ-1 is designed as an airborne surveillance and reconnaissance drone. Powered by a Rotax 914 four cylinder engine providing 101 horsepower the RQ-1 has a top speed of 135 mph and a range of 454 miles. Some RQ-1's were armed with Hellfire missiles, and were first used in action in 2002. This led to the MQ-1 which is a multi-role variant entering service in 2005. The RQ-1 and MQ-1 currently equip the 11th and 15 Reconnaisance Squadrons of the USAF. These drones have been used successfully in Bosnia, Yemen, Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Blohm und Voss P.178 was a proposed jet powered single-seat dive bomber of asymmetrical design.  It was one of many paper projects that were discovered by the Allies after the defeat of Germany in 1945. Blohm und Voss had a history of designing asymmetric aircraft, the most famous being the BV.141 reconnaissance aircraft and light bomber. The P.178 featured a streamlined fuselage housing the pilot, fuel tank and bomb bay. Two 15mm MG 151 cannons were to be mounted in the nose and two small rocket engines mounted in the rear fuselage. A 500kg bomb could be carried internally, or a larger 1000kg bomb could be carried semi-recessed. The straight wing carried a Junkers Jumo 004 jet engine mounted in a pod to the right of the main fuselage. No performance estimates were available for this aircraft.

This jet is the first three landing gear, with a wingspan of 12 meters, 10.8 meters long fuselage. On the right side of the main wing is equipped with a Jumo-004B turbo jet engine. Located in the main body below the plug point can carry 500-1000 kg level bombs or other heavy weapons. Two solid fuel rocket engine nozzle extends from the rear of the fuselage, it can be used to pull in takes off or dive in to provide additional power for aircraft. The nose on both sides with a MG151 15mm gun. In addition to the bombing type as the basic type, there are many development types. Cause of unique design and later stage of the war of scarcity, the project is not approved by the RLM. And just stay on the drawing board. BV P.178 reconnaissance retains the prototype layout and armed. Only in the rear of the fuselage is equipped with two Rb50/30 large aerial camera. And it can equipped with 600 liters of fuel tank on the ETC50 rack under the fuselage to increase range. The painting scheme including the Luftwaffe and Russische Befreiungsarmee (R.O.A) close to Germany.
